From My Sketchbook
Some of the sharable content from the sketchbook which I take with me everywhere. The two at the bottom are animal gestures that resulted from a very pleasant trip to the zoo.
The first image (or 2) are from my walks around my school campus.

Return
HI! I have been gone for a very long. I have no sketches on my computer at the moment, so these photos will have to do. I will definitely post "art" within the next week.

Moving Soon
HI, tried a different style, I think. I had a birthday and bought useless food that I can't eat.

HELLO
There's no real reason for my absence on this blog....SO. There is, but it's not worth typing. Enjoy this one image I guess.

SAMURAI
My rendition of a samurai!!
I removed the gore, because it's only cool with color, and I obviously do not partake in such.
This is very closely based off of an image from a book. If you know the original, please tell me, because the book fails to identify any information. I can't read the writing on the sides of the original, because I am only familiar with the English language. Very ANNOYING not to know the title of the painting.

HELLO, SUMMER
HELLO! I'm happy to say I have finished my finals and am now a recent grad with an AA in Art, and AA in Interdisciplinary Studies in Letters and Science (i think, haha).
To celebrate that I finished school I decided to paint/draw, and I'm semi-satisfied with the results:
I would categorize this under my more abstract work, at least, more impressionistic....I'm not sure, but I know it's DEFINITELY not realism at all.

Fox head, derp
I had such fun drawing the tiger, that I tried out a fox...I do not like it very much, though. It turned out...sort of uncouth...awkward...wonky.
It was sort of fun, I guess. I plan on working on my future prints which I will say more about in later posts. THEN I will return to my usual style. :D
The second is an old piece that got into the student show at my school. Yay. I post up this one and another online somewhere and asked for opinions. This one won.

GRAPHITE?!?
I drew a tiger...not much to say about it, it's sort of a rough sketch that I plan on cleaning up after finals. I also drew a fox head, which I will post next week.
This a departure from my usual choice of medium...

RANDOM to the MAXXX
This week and next, I shall be studying for my dreaded human anatomy finals!! I'm a tad bit nervous, because since being accepted into a four-year university as a transfer kid, I have become a lazy potato. ANYWAY, I also have way too many writing assignments. All the classes were smooth sailing until now. With the end looming near, a storm has brewed....I don't know if I will make it out alive. (I probably will.)
RANDOM COMPILATION OF DRAWINGS!!!
(none of these are scribbs, btw.)
Inspired by the poem, Barrio Beateo by Jesse F. Garcia. This was for a project for my lit class.
Oil painting of a donut that was accepted into a student show at my community college. YEAH!
EYE OF THE TIGER!! VERY quick sketch of a tiger's eye I saw online.
Preparation for a potential commission. :D
Another quick sketch, even quicker....you can probably tell. I used a picture as reference; it looked like a wolf, but I made it look a bit like a husky here...except the snout is shorter on a husky...NEVER MIND.

Windswept and Stressed
Hello! The semester is coming to a close, and I should be feeling stressed, but I'm not...I probably will a week before finals...EEEEK.
I'll probably have a drawing every week until the end of the semester. Coming soon is one that I have to do for a creative project for my honors lit class. TOTALLY DIFFERENT STYLE.
AND, I got some artwork AS WELL as a poem in my school's literary, student work, magazine. WOOT.
(sorry for all the text, I promise I won't write so much next time)

Shadowy Reflections
All I draw these days are "adventure" scenes...I'm sorry if you were hoping for the old stuff, but I can't bring myself to draw those "fashion" influenced sketches anymore. They look so lame sauce to me now. Haha, oh well, maybe next week, but I doubt it.
All of these were based off photos from this book:
Beautiful photos.
(The author REALLY loves trees, it's a bit ridiculous; nothing wrong with that, though).

Out of Sequence
Spring Break is here, finally. I hope I don't become a shut-in this week. I think I will accomplish a lot of painting/drawing. (that is what cool kids do, btw)

New Guy
Here are the other two, the second is the newest adaption of the Adventure Series. (It must be annoying that I keep referencing it.) Anyway, I decided to add another "character" to the drawings and tweak the girl's appearance. I guess I was getting bored with her old look.
I have two more on the way, once again. So far, I've been making two a night. It's impressive because I normally do one a month. Hahaha...this two a night deal probably won't last long.
