From My Sketchbook

Some of the sharable content from the sketchbook which I take with me everywhere. The two at the bottom are animal gestures that resulted from a very pleasant trip to the zoo.

The first image (or 2) are from my walks around my school campus.

SAMURAI

My rendition of a samurai!!

I removed the gore, because it's only cool with color, and I obviously do not partake in such.

This is very closely based off of an image from a book. If you know the original, please tell me, because the book fails to identify any information. I can't read the writing on the sides of the original, because I am only familiar with the English language. Very ANNOYING not to know the title of the painting.

Black Capped Chickadee Sketches/Gestures

Fox head, derp

I had such fun drawing the tiger, that I tried out a fox...I do not like it very much, though. It turned out...sort of uncouth...awkward...wonky.

It was sort of fun, I guess. I plan on working on my future prints which I will say more about in later posts. THEN I will return to my usual style. :D

The second is an old piece that got into the student show at my school. Yay. I post up this one and another online somewhere and asked for opinions. This one won.

GRAPHITE?!?

I drew a tiger...not much to say about it, it's sort of a rough sketch that I plan on cleaning up after finals. I also drew a fox head, which I will post next week.

This a departure from my usual choice of medium...

RANDOM to the MAXXX

This week and next, I shall be studying for my dreaded human anatomy finals!! I'm a tad bit nervous, because since being accepted into a four-year university as a transfer kid, I have become a lazy potato. ANYWAY, I also have way too many writing assignments. All the classes were smooth sailing until now. With the end looming near, a storm has brewed....I don't know if I will make it out alive. (I probably will.)

RANDOM COMPILATION OF DRAWINGS!!!

(none of these are scribbs, btw.)

Inspired by the poem, Barrio Beateo by Jesse F. Garcia. This was for a project for my lit class.

Oil painting of a donut that was accepted into a student show at my community college. YEAH!

EYE OF THE TIGER!! VERY quick sketch of a tiger's eye I saw online.

Preparation for a potential commission. :D

Another quick sketch, even quicker....you can probably tell. I used a picture as reference; it looked like a wolf, but I made it look a bit like a husky here...except the snout is shorter on a husky...NEVER MIND.

Tiger, Tiger burning bright...

A Picture that my friend bought from me. Yeee!

Sketches and Inky Musings

I had free time between my studies, eating, and watching tv, so I drew these on a whim. I still like drawing hair.

I have also decided to introduce a new "character" to those Adventure Drawings I always do; it will be a guy but there will be NO romantic overtones. The main "character" will also have a new look. 2012 is a time for change, I guess. So these are some quick sketches of things to come.

Sketches that I did from a book on Japanese Street Style...compiled from FRUiTS Magazine...

My recent endeavors. All of these have to do with my secret project.

Almost at my 100th Scribb!!!!!!!

Letting the dog out- the dog is supposed to be moving super fast...not sure if that was communicated correctly.

DOG GESTURES!

Some sketches from Life drawing...beware.

I decided to share some of my life drawing sketches. I'm quite new to this, so please don't be too judgmental. These vary from 5 -15 min.

2nd model- Wenda

1st model- Myentook?? I don't remember how to spell her name...sorry.

Drawings that aren't serious.

I'm rather busy now...and taking four art classes. So, most of my creativity will be for grades now...probably less drawings will be posted here since I vowed to myself not to post any potential portfolio pieces on here. Anyway.

Scribb #92

I drew this in a card for someone, so its rather small.

This is a reference to the first drawing I ever put on this blog...ever. You can compare here.

Opposites? Morose Molly, and Happy Heidi?

And two photos to record that San Francisco did have a sunny day this summer.

Self Portrait, and Weirdness

Weird assortment of drawings, quite different from the stuff I usually like drawing. All the ones after the first two were created after I saw some Prada ads. I thought the models looked weird...so I drew some weird ones?? They are wearing animal masks, for some reason. They kinda suck, so whatever.

 My Self-Portrait!

The thing I drew right before my self-portrait!
