Seas of Thought

I decided to focus on wide open spaces.

What Happened Next

I started school up this week and I have a ton of work to cram in before I go off on a weeklong hiatus from school, but it's for good reason. I really shouldn't have drawn these, but I couldn't help myself. I also decided to add captions because I think these need them.

The figure in the back is supposed to be in a body of water, but I don't know if I communicated that successfully.

This was ripped off a shot from a music video I watched recently. The overall whiteness is supposed to be snow, but someone said it looked like the beach...whatever works for you.

I drew this while I re-watched Once which is unrelated to this image.

This was taken from a rough sketch I did off the coast. Don't know what the beach was called, and I took some liberties.

The Fruits of Springbreak

I've had my springbreak this week, and I've watched a Japanese show. I ended up drawing these after several failed drawings inspired by my favorite movies. I also recently wrote up a research paper about cultural art, and their influence on art in California. One of the cultures was Japan, and the art left an impression on me. However, my sketches are much more chaotic than traditional Japanese inkings and paintings, most likely because I'm impatient. Bear in mind that these are sketches, are usually finished under twenty minutes.

Old Drawings

I've been swamped by school, and have been unable to concentrate on anything not related to school or the tv show Scrubs. So I haven't drawn anything for two and a half weeks.

These are all quite old, meaning they were drawn at the beginning of March.
The first two are both things I would like to do; read and mess around with a poorly built sail boat. The others all have to do with air, but I think they are kind of weird.

I want to color these on the computer, but not sure how without photoshop.
